The SIE Funds - Structural and European investment funds are the world where the EU is providing its funds. Under the SIE words are well-5 diversified funds by sector:
FESR_ European Regional Development Fund, which promotes a development equlibrato in different regions of the European Union;
FSE- European Social Fund, the employment both young workers by investing in European human capital
FC-Cohesion Fund, for the financing of projects in the transport sector and the environment in countries that have a Gross National Income (GNI) per capita below 90%: Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.
EAFRD - European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development -
The Fund contributes to improving:
- The competitiveness of the agricultural and forestry sector (through better knowledge and strengthening the human potential, development of physical capital and increase of production quality);
- The environment and the landscape;
- The quality of life in rural areas and the rural economy.
EMFF - European Fund for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, to support the fishermen and coastal communities in the use of innovative sustainable fishing methods and to diversify their economy.
